S. Thangapazham College of Nursing celebrated International Nurses Day on 08/05/2026 at the ST Nursing College Auditorium with great enthusiasm and active participation from students and faculty members. The programme was beautifully organized by the SNA Committee members under the guidance of the management.

The celebration began with a warm welcome and an attractive welcome dance performed by the students. Various entertaining and educational activities such as quiz competitions and theme-based games were conducted to create awareness about the significance of International Nurses Day and the contribution of nurses to society.

On this occasion, Prof. Leelavathy, Principal, delivered a special message based on the theme of International Nurses Day, emphasizing the dedication, compassion, and responsibilities of nurses in healthcare services. The first-year students performed a meaningful skit based on the theme, which conveyed an inspiring message to the audience. Poetry presentations by students also added special value to the programme.

The celebration concluded with cake cutting and distribution of heavy snacks to all participants. The entire programme was successfully conducted with the valuable guidance and support of Mr. S.T. Murugesan, Chairman, ST Group of Institutions, and Mr. M. Subramaniyan, Director, ST Group of Institutions. The event became a memorable and meaningful celebration for all the participants.
